“Moving point of no return” is an expression of the feeling of paralysis resulting from the inevitability of fate, overwhelmed by circumstances of the historical order.

Moving point-of-no-return to praca, którą wykonałem po doświadczeniu pierwszego roku pandemii wirusa COVID-19. Okres ten dla mnie, jak i dla wielu innych osób nie wiązał się jedynie ze strachem przed chorobą, ale też ze zmianami jakie ta sytuacja wywołała w życiu społecznym. Jest to szafka na trzech kołach od wózków towarowych, rozmieszczonych tak, by pozycji stojącej wywoływała ciągłe wrażenie, że zaraz się przewróci. Cały mebel pokryty jest wieloma warstwami wikolu, w które zostały wtopione rysunki. Rysunek na tylnej ścianie szafki przedstawia tor lotu strzały, formujący kształt złowieszczego ducha. Po bokach szafki wtopione są zniekształcone rysunki krwawiących nadgarstków, w które wgryzły się wężopodobne stwory. Na szczycie szafki, niczym kwiaty, ustawiony jest bukiet z dozowników, a we w połowie wysuniętej szufladzie znajduje się zapas sezonowanego kremu do ciała.

Moving point-of-no-return is a work I made after experiencing the first year of the COVID-19 virus pandemic. This period for me, as for many others, was not only associated with the fear of the disease, but also with the changes that this situation caused in social life. It is a cabinet on three wheels from freight carts, arranged in such a way that the standing position gives the constant impression that it is about to topple over. The entire piece of furniture is covered with multiple layers of wikol, into which drawings have been blended. The drawing on the back wall of the cabinet shows the flight path of an arrow, forming the shape of a sinister ghost. On the sides of the cabinet are blended distorted drawings of bleeding wrists, into which snake-like creatures have bitten. A bouquet of dispensers is set on top of the cabinet like flowers, and a half-extended drawer holds a supply of seasoned body cream.
